Yeast Selection;

Classic Turbo Yeast:

  • Use 7.5kgs of Dextrose/Sugar you need 21 litres of water at 40° Celsius
  • You will need top up to a finished level of 25lts.
  • Ferments best when air temperature is 18-25° Celsius
  • Ferments to 18%, 5-6 days.
  • Finished when hydrometer reads SG 990

Alcotec Turbo Yeast 24h:

  • Use 7.5 kgs of Dextrose/Sugar you need 21 litres of water at 40° Celsius
  • You will need top up to a finished level of 25lts.
  • Ferments best when air temperature is 18-25° Celsius
  • Ferments to 18%, 5-6 days
  • Finished when hydrometer reads SG 990

Alcotec Turbo Yeast 48hr:

  • Use 7.5 kgs of Dextrose/Sugar you need 21 litres of water at 40° Celsius
  • You will need top up to a finished level of 25lts.
  • Ferments best when air temperature is 20-32° Celsius
  • Ferments to 20%, 5-6 days
  • Finished when hydrometer reads SG 990

Heatwave Turbo Yeast:

  • Use 6 kgs  of Dextrose/Sugar you need 21 litres of water at 40 deg Celsius
  • You will need top up to a finished level of 25lts.
  • Ferments best when air temperature is 20-35° Celsius
  • Ferments to 16%, 5-6 days
  • Finished when hydrometer reads SG 990

Smugglers Bulk Turbo Yeast:

  • Use as per Heatwave yeast.
  • 85gms of yeast per 6kgs of Dextrose/Sugar.

Turbo Clear:

  • With all yeasts for best results use Turbo Clear.
  • Add directly to the wash.
  • Wait 24hrs, see your alcohol quality transformed.
  • Removes over 90% of the unwanted compound from the wash.
  • Without Turbo Clear yeast cells will break open during boiling introducing off flavours and smell into your distillate.
