Bourbon Oak Extract – Smugglers
Bourbon Oak extract is used in the treatment of alcohol to add the oak character and mature flavour to the spirit.
Suitable for Bourbon and also Wild Turkey©.
Used Bourbon barrels are chipped, and sold to the home brew industry.
By using the liquid extract, you are able to drink the Bourbon a lot sooner, it will improve with time.
Oak liquid Extract:
We have soaked the chips in spirit, for several days to extract the character and flavours.
Next we remove the liquid from the chips.
All the brewer has to do is add 10 – 15 mls of extract to each 1 litre of spirit.
American Oak mellow extract, suitable for Rum and also Whiskey.
American Toasted Oak Extract, suitable for Bourbon and also Wild Turkey©, Whiskey Extract, Irish Whiskey, Rum Extract and also Jamaican Rums.
Usage : 10 – 15 mls per litre.
Available sizes: 50 mls, 350 mls and 1 litre bottles.
