American Oak Staves

American Oak staves, add caricature and maturity to spirit.

Genuine American Oak

10mm thickness, approx 60mm long. Usage 1 stave or 10 gms per 1 litre of spirit, 10 day soaking.

Choose four of the same variety, or mixed staves.

STAVES

American Oak Smokey Staves ( charred )

American charred oak staves have been produced from Genuine American barrels.

Charred to add a distinctive light smokey flavour to the spirit.

The American oak timber is used to add an oak caricature to the spirit, while maturing the spirit.

Charred oak staves add an hint of smoky flavour.

Smoky spirits include Whiskey, Bourbon, Rum.

Usage:

• 1 stave or 10 grams of staves is sufficient for 1 litre of spirit.
• Soak for 10 days,
• Finally remove the staves.`

You have now improved your spirit, it is time to add your desired flavour, Whiskey, Bourbon or Rum.

If you do not use flavour additive, then you need to soak the spirit for much longer period of time.

American Toasted Oak Staves

American Toasted Staves from genuine barrels.

Staves size is approx 10mm thick and 60mm long.

Ultimately toasted to add caricature to Bourbon.

At the same time Bourbon styles like wild turkey.

Similarly used for darker Jamaican Rums.

Usage:

One stave per litre of spirit, soak for 5 – 10 days.

Remove the staves from the spirit, and add the essence flavour.

Dry the staves and burn on the BBQ.

Prolonged soaking does not add more flavour.

American Oak Natural Staves

Suitable for Rum or Whiskey.

American Oak Staves have been produced from barrels while maintaining a chunky appearance.

Each stave is approximately 10 grams.

Usage:

Treatment requires 10 grams of oak staves per litre of spirit for 10 days.

As a result, giving the best character and maturity to your spirit.

In addition you should add flavoring essence.

Otherwise you will need to soak as much as three months.

Used in producing a most noteworthy Whiskey or Rum.

American Oak Shaves

SHAVINGS

Shaved from Barrels that are still is use.

Every two years or so the leading distilleries shave the barrels, to expose new timber for the next batch.

Rum flavored American Oak Shavings

Shaved from Rum barrels still in use.

Rum Shaves, no doubt improves the alcohol meanwhile adding the oak character and mature properties to the spirit.

Usage: Rum

• 10 grams per litre.

Soak-age:

• 5 days is adequate.

American Oak Shaves, Shaved from American Oak barrels.

Because of the surface area, 10 grams is plenty per litre of spirit.

Usage:

• 10 grams per litre.

Soak-age:

• 5 days is adequate.

Oak shaves add the caricature and maturity to Whiskey, and also Rum.
