Activated Granulated Carbon – Smugglers 1 kg

Activated Granulated Carbon, used to remove the fusel oils, unwanted flavors and unpleasant odors
Also known as Gold carbon. ( medium grade  )
Used as a 5 day soaking method , add 10 gms carbon per liter.
At the end of 5 days you need to run the liquid through filter wool or filter pads to remove the black color

The longer the soaking time the better 3 weeks would be preferred

Think of the carbon as a magnate.

The fusel oil is attracted and held by the carbon.

Other carbons

Activated cartridge Carbon. used in filter cartridge systems.

Granulated or Gold carbon, used for 5 day soaking method.

Use 10 grams per liter soak in a separate container, preferably not plastic.

Manufactured from coal or coconut husk.
