Turbo Yeast Bulk 850 grams by Smugglers, yeast is specially suitable for 6kg sugar.

High quality yeast, up there with the Alcotec yeast quality.

Usage 85 gm per 25lt wash.

850gms give 10 washes $5.00 per wash.

Ferments 16-18% in the wash returning 90% plus spirit.

Suitable for batching larger washes, 250-300  litre wash is possible per 850 gm.

Sprinkle slowly over the wash, stirring continuously.

History: The concept of turbo yeast was founded in the early 1990’s.
Before then, there were super yeast which would today be called simply yeast and nutrient.
The first real turbo yeast was likely the Swedish Turbo3 (still in production) followed shortly thereafter by Alcotec.

Best used with Turbo Clear: a two part clearing agent, added into the wash 24 hrs before the distilling process.

Add directly into the fermented wash, allow to stand for 24 hours, will settle out solids and other compounds.

If not used, yeast cells will break open during the boiling process releasing off flavour and smell into your distillate.
