Glycerine
Glycerine is a thick liquid which we add into our liqueurs to smooth and also soften and thicken the raw spirit.
This additive is colorless and also odorless, naturally sweet.
Usage: normally 3 – 5 mls is sufficient per litre.
Similarly of coarse it can be used sparingly in the spirit flavours.
In addition it is used will take the sharp bite off the alcohol.
Whereas other like the strong hit of ethanol in there spirits.
Glucose mixed with sugar is also popular to smooth out the alcohol.
